Homeschool Enrichment Centers (HEC) is a learning center for Preschool through High School that provides a safe place where homeschool families can come together, take Enrichment & Core classes, participate in community events & field trips and receive support and encouragement from knowledgeable people & one another. We believe in igniting the joy of learning in our students with hands-on learning, engaging interaction & critical thinking, while teaching students responsibility, compassion & how to work well with others. Whether you are looking for a couple of classes or a whole day (or more), staying with your child or dropping them off, homeschool families can find it here. We are like a college, but for kids, where you can choose each individual class that best meets you & your child's needs!

How Does HEC Work?

We are like a college but for kids, where you choose your schedule, yet you are still the teacher & continue to make the decisions of how to homeschool.
You choose however many classes you want. There is no minimum or maximum. All classes are a-la-carte.
A Membership is required to register at HEC
Each class is paid to each individual vendor after membership is paid.
You can choose enrichment or core classes.
Families choose HEC to farm out their child's core classes, to take enrichment classes, for the social time or to simply get a break.

We accept Independent & Homeschool Charter Students
Payments to each individual class goes directly to each independent vendor/teacher.
Parents stay on campus
OR you can choose to drop-off by choosing & paying extra for one of our drop-off program options. Continue below for options.

MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION:

The Membership is $68 for the school year from August-May 31st and is required for all children upon registration.
The membership is non-refundable and does not prorate.
Membership is to be able to register for classes, field trips and to attend our community events.
You can pay out of pocket for membership OR use charter funds to pay for it.
- Check with your charter to see if they pay for membership registration fees. If not, you will need to pay for this fee out of pocket.
- Then charters will pay for the individual classes with approved vendors.

INSTRUCTIONS ON REGISTERING:

Click on the "CLASSES" tab at the top of this website.
Then scroll down & if you see a blue AMILIA button, CLICK ON IT.
Use the Filters for LOCATION on the left side.
- Other Filters: day, location, more filters, program and category
Once you click to register, it will prompt you to create an ACCOUNT.
You will create an account under the PARENT's name.
Start registering for classes.
Using charter funds to pay for the Membership instead of paying the membership out of pocket? Stop and go to the instructions below on how to use funds to pay for membership. *Otherwise, continue registering to pay membership out of pocket.
After checkout, follow instructions on how to pay for each individual class to each individual vendor/teacher with their method of payment or charter.
- **You will be emailed a confirmation upon finishing registration- with methods of payment for each vendor/teacher.
IF YOU REGISTERED AND HAVE NOT PAID- YOU MAY NOT START THE CLASS. IF YOU PAID & ARE NOT PROPERLY REGISTERED, YOU MAY NOT START CLASSES. Paying with your charter funds does NOT MEAN YOU ARE REGISTERED. WE ARE NOT ONE SYSTEM.

HOW TO PAY MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION WITH CHARTER:

YOU CANNOT REGISTER IF YOU ARE USING FUNDS TO PAY FOR MEMBERSHIP UNTIL WE RECEIVE YOUR Purchase Order (or Enrichment Certificate) FROM YOUR CHARTER for the $68 per student.
You can choose to pay out of pocket for membership to make the process quicker and to save your child's spots in desired classes; then pay for classes with charter funds.
OR Order funds from your charter to pay Homeschool Enrichment Centers.

Once HEC receives the purchase order from your charter we will then email you a coupon code to use upon checking out with registration.
THEN you can start registering for classes in OUR SYSTEM using that coupon at checkout so it doesn't charge you for the $68 membership.
Once you checkout, follow instructions below on how to pay for classes once you register in OUR SYSTEM. You will receive an email confirmation of each vendor's charter's name to order funds.

Paying For Classes with Charter Funds

STEP BY STEP:

Register for the classes in our system on our website to save your child's spots in classes, making sure that vendor is an approved vendor with your charter.
Order enrichment funds with your charter immediately.
Enrichment Certificates & Purchase Orders must be received within 5 business days. If it is not received in 5 business days you will be dropped from the class.
If you do not have access to charter funds to pay, you will need to pay a $50 deposit OR do not register until you have access to your funds so the vendor can receive the payment within 5 business days. There are no exceptions.
Check with your charter on their policies. Check with your charter on when they will release funds to be used for SERVICES. All charters work differently.
FULL PAYMENT or a PURCHASE ORDER (OR ENRICHMENT CERTIFICATE) FROM YOUR CHARTER must be received before a student can start classes. Do NOT ask if they can attend without full payment. No exceptions.

Paying for classes out of pocket

Register for the class FIRST
Pay the vendor/teacher with their method of payment which is noted in the class description or in the confirmation email after registration.
Send $50 non-refundable deposit OR full payment to each individual vendor per class is due within 24 hours of registering. If payment is not made within 24 hours of registering your child will be dropped.
FULL PAYMENT must be received before a student can start classes. Do NOT ask if they can attend without full payment. No exceptions.

**Out of Pocket: Cash, Check, Zelle, PayPal or Venmo: HEC Vendors do not accept payments marked, "Turn on for purchases." If paying through Venmo or PayPal, turn off the service payment feature, If you pay this way, you will be charged an extra 5% or refunded, minus Venmo's payment fees we incurred, and you will be asked to re-submit payment for the full amount of the class.

Want a discount?

If you are registering for 10 or more classes between the hours of 9:00-3:00pm per ONE STUDENT, you will get a 10% discount off all classes that you are paying out of pocket for. (8% discount off 2 hour or more a week classes). 2 day a week classes are considered 2 classes for the purposes of getting the discount.

Do not take discount off classes you are paying with charter funds. For example: if you have 10 classes & 5 of them you are paying for with charter funds & 5 you are paying out of pocket for, you will get a discount off the 5 you are paying out of pocket for only...but you still qualify for the discount since you are registering for 10+ classes.

If you drop below 10 classes, you will be required to pay the vendors the difference owed.

Theater 4-12th is considered to be one class only & 8% discount only.

1 1/2 hour classes are considered to be ONE class.
2 day a week classes count as 2 days for the purposes of getting the discount.

This discount cannot be combined with any other discount & Other restrictions may apply

Payment plan

If you are paying out of pocket & registering for 10 or more classes per one student, you qualify for a payment plan if paying cash.

Requirements:

The payment plan per class is as follows:

$50 Non-Refundable Registration cancellation fee upon registering
1st payment of $75 before the first day of classes.
2nd payment of $75 - 3 weeks after classes start.
3rd & final payment due 6 weeks after classes start.

How to Drop A Class

Email the teacher/vendor to drop any classes. Membership Registration fees are non-refundable and will not be refunded. There are no refunds on the non-refundable $50 deposits.
In some cases, if the class already started and it is only the 1st week, there might also be additional material fees which are determined by each vendor.
If you are inquiring about dropping a class after the 1st week of classes, there are no refunds after the 1st week of classes.

Paying $50 with PCA, CPA, MVA

OVERPAYMENT REIMBURSEMENT POLICIES

If you have paid a $50 non-refundable deposit but your charter does not allow you to partially pay for services, you need to order your Purchase Orders with your charter in the full amount of the class. Upon receiving payment from the charter, the vendor will reimburse any over payment that they have received from each student. Overpayments must be requested by the student’s family and will be reimbursed in the same manner they were paid. Overpayment reimbursements will be processed AFTER the Vendor has received full payment from the Charter. If payment was received from a charter school, the reimbursement of the overpayment does not occur until actual payment is received by the Vendor. An enrichment certificate or Purchase Order does not qualify as payment for Services. Full payments from charters depend on each charter. Some Charters (after invoicing) will pay for the full amount within 30 days of services started and some will pay within 30 days after services have ended. HEC or the Vendor are not responsible for any reimbursements/refunds of any payments submitted, received or paid contrary to Student’s charter school policies. Please be aware of Student’s charter school policies.

Not all charters will pay for membership fees, but most will pay for each individual class if the vendor is approved with that charter.

CPA, MVA, PCA, Freedom, Suncoast & SoCal Scholars will pay for the membership registration.

Our vendors are approved with different charters. Please check before registering who is approved with your charter: Elite, Excel, Freedom, CPA, MVA, PCA, Dimensions, Suncoast, Granite Mountain, Compass and SoCal Scholars Academy, and Springs

Early Drop off

WHAT COMES WITH EARLY DROP OFF

$78 per semester
Early Drop Off Care from 8:15am-9:00am
Supervision in case of an emergency

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be registered in minimum 3 classes for the day

HALF DAY DROP OFF

Fee : $34 per Semester, per class day

AGES TK-15 YEAR OLD ARE REQUIRED TO SIGN UP FOR DROP OFF IF PARENT IS NOT STAYING ON CAMPUS

WHAT COMES WITH HALF DAY-

Walk to class from TK-1st (1st grade will be walked the first 2 weeks until they feel comfortable doing it on their own)
Lanyard for schedule & emergency info
Supervision in case of an emergency

REQUIREMENTS FOR TK-13YRS

Must be registered in 3 consecutive classes (9am-11:55am OR 12pm-2:55pm)
- There is a 1 class add-on option for each half day 12pm class for the 9-11:55am and 11am class for the 12pm-2:55pm making it 4 consecutive classes for the same Half-Day drop-off option.
  - This is simply an add-on option and does NOT count as one of your 3 required consecutive classes
If you want to do both half day options in one day you MUST have 6 consecutive classes from 9-2:55pm - with unsupervised NO BREAKS.

REQUIREMENTS FOR 14 & OLDER

No charge
Register for 2-4 consecutive classes
- There may be NO unsupervised breaks with this schedule (this includes no 30 min breaks)

EXCEPTIONS FOR 16 & OLDER

No charge
Age 16 & older are allowed to come & go as they need to & may have one study hour or lunch hour.
- If this is abused, you will be asked to add classes to your child's schedule OR stay on campus with your child
If student is driving they may come and go one their own

FULL DAY DROP OFF W/ LUNCH

AGES TK-15 YEAR OLD ARE REQUIRED TO SIGN UP FOR DROP OFF IF PARENT IS NOT STAYING ON CAMPUS

WHAT COMES WITH FULL DAY

$74 per semester (TK-11yrs)
$70 per semester (12-13yrs)
Free 14-15yrs (but still must register)

REQUIREMENT FOR 14 & OLDER

Must Be Registered in 5 classes & must have a 9am class & a 2:00pm class with one lunch hour OR 4 classes with an approved volunteer hour & up to one hour for lunch.
- Volunteer hour must be approved by the director (limited spots). Do not go directly to a teacher first.
- Lunch period is not a class
Lunch hours are only allowed at the following times: 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm or any part thereof & may be just 30 minutes but no more than 55 minutes and only one lunch time allowed.

EXCEPTIONS FOR AGES 16 & OLDER

Age 16 & older are allowed to have one study hour instead of a volunteer hour, which means, sitting down & studying
- If this is abused, you will be asked to add classes to your child's schedule OR stay on campus with your child
If student is driving they may come and go one their own

If you want to drop your child off you will need to be registered in one of our drop off programs for an extra cost.

Half Day Drop-Off Options:

Morning Options:
- 9:00-11:55am (with 12:00pm optional class add-on)
Afternoon session:
- 12:00pm-2:55pm (with 11:00am optional class add-on)
You may not register for a lunch period with the half day option.

Full Day Drop-Off Options:

Must choose 5 classes
Must have a 9:00am class & a 2:00pm class.
Includes a Lunch period- pick which time best fits your schedule.

All Drop-Off Programs are for ages:

TK-11yrs
12-13yrs (Teen)
14 - 15yrs (free, but still must register)

Other Drop-Off Add-ons

Early Drop off (8:30am-9:00am)
Extended Care (2:55pm-4:00pm)

Parents are required to stay on campus. If you would like to pay an extra fee to drop off, then you would look at our drop-off options. If you are staying on campus then you do not need to enroll in our drop-off program

You must provide supervision for your child when on campus
If your child does not have a class, then you MUST watch them
There is a parent room at each location designated for parents who stay on campus.
These parent rooms are meant for parents to work with their students on their schoolwork & are to be treated like a library.
We also have a lot of outside areas for parents and younger siblings to hangout. Some campuses have a playground.
