Homeschool Enrichment Centers (HEC) is a learning center for Preschool through High School that provides a safe place where homeschool families can come together, take Enrichment & Core classes, participate in community events & field trips and receive support and encouragement from knowledgeable people & one another. We believe in igniting the joy of learning in our students with hands-on learning, engaging interaction & critical thinking, while teaching students responsibility, compassion & how to work well with others. Whether you are looking for a couple of classes or a whole day (or more), staying with your child or dropping them off, homeschool families can find it here. We are like a college, but for kids, where you can choose each individual class that best meets you & your child's needs!

How Does HEC Work?

  • We are like a college but for kids, where you choose your schedule, yet you are still the teacher & continue to make the decisions of how to homeschool.

  • You choose however many classes you want. There is no minimum or maximum. All classes are a-la-carte.

  • A Membership is required per student to register

  • You can choose enrichment or core classes.

  • Families choose HEC to farm out their child's core classes, to take enrichment classes, for the social time or to simply get a break.

  • We accept Independent & Homeschool Charter Students

  • Parents stay on campus

  • OR you can choose to drop-off by choosing & paying extra for one of our  drop-off program options. Continue below for options.

  • HEC is not a school & does not keep records or require Vaccinations

Desktop Instructions

  • Click on Schedule tab on the Website

  • Go to correct Semester (Fall or Spring)

  • Log in Or create and Amilia Account (this may occur at a later step)

  • Use the Filters on the right side to find classes 

    • Filter are: day, location, more filters, program and category​

  • Click on the class title for full class details 

  • Press register button or the add button icon 

  • Select participant(s) to register (or add another person)​​

  • A membership notice will pop up - press continue

    • (membership will be added to your cart automatically) 

  • When you are done adding classes press checkout or the cart (you will have a time limit to checkout) 

  • You will see the classes added as well as the $68 membership fee in your check out cart 

    • classes will be $0 all payments are made directly to vendors for classes

    • the $68 charge is for membership and is mandatory to register 

    • if you register for any drop off options this will be paid upon checkout and will reflect in your cart 

  •  Click the check out button 

  • You will be prompted to fill out student info and waivers

    • This will only need to be done once every 6 months 

  • Once completed press continue and complete payment information 

  • You will be sent a confirmation email upon checkout

Paying For Classes with Charter Funds 

Upon registration, if you do not have Funds available at the time of registering, then a $50 non-refundable deposit is required which is paid directly to each instructor/vendor for each class, in order to save your spot in the class or you can pay the full amount of the class fee due. If your charter funds are not available yet, you have 2 options​

  1. Wait to register until your charter funds are available and then no deposit is necessary,if the vendor receives the charter's purchase order within 5 business days.

  2. Or register now and send the $50 non-refundable deposit to each vendor/teacher to save your child's spot.

    1. If you choose this route, you need to check to see if your charter allows for partial payments.


  1. Register for the class.

  2. Order enrichment funds from your charter immediately (you have 5 business days for your vendor to RECEIVE your certificate) - if it is not received in 5 business days you will be dropped from the class

  3. Contact your vendor that you ordered the certificate

  4. When you receive the enrichment certificate (fancy word for purchase order), confirm that the vendor received it as well.

After School

If you want to drop your child off you will need to be registered in one of our drop off programs for an extra cost.

Half Day Drop-Off Options:

  • Morning Options:

    • 9:00-11:55am (with 12:00pm optional class add-on)

  • Afternoon session:

    • 12:00pm-2:55pm (with 11:00am optional class add-on)

  • You may not register for a lunch period with the half day option.


Full Day Drop-Off Options:

  • Must choose 5 classes

  • Must have a 9:00am class & a 2:00pm class. 

  • Includes a Lunch period- pick which time best fits your schedule. (Make sure there is still room as they can get full).

    • 11:00am

    • 11:30am

    • 12:00pm

    • 12:30pm

All Drop-Off Programs are for ages:

  • TK-11yrs

  • ​12-13yrs (Teen)

  • 14 - 15yrs (free, but still must register) ​​


Other Drop-Off Add-ons

  • Early Drop off (8:30am-9:00am)

  • Extended Care (2:55pm-4:00pm)

Early Drop off 


  • $78 per semester 

  • Early Drop Off Care  from 8:15am-9:00am 

  • Supervision in case of an emergency 


  • Must be registered in minimum 3 classes for the day

Is HEC a school?

Homeschool Enrichment Centers (HEC) is a learning center. HEC is not a school. We offer full core classes, elective, & enrichment classes along with field trips & events for preschool through High School. Classes are al la carte style where you can pick as little or as much as you want. 

Some things to know: 

  • We have 3 campuses 

    • Bonita (classes are Mondays & Wednesdays) ​

    • El Cajon ( classes are Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays) ​​

    • Riverside (classes are Tuesdays & Thursdays)

  • A membership is required to attend our classes, field trips & events ​

  • We do NOT have records or keep grades. You, the parent, are the teacher and should be keeping grades OR if you are with a independent study charter, then your charter will

  • HEC does not keep records or ask for vaccines.

  • We are here to help you in your homeschool journey to supplement classes.

  • HEC offers core classes for High School.

  • Each class is paid for in 1 semester increments (16 non-consecutive weeks) 

  • TK - your child must be 5 years old by February 2nd, 2024
