The Drop-Off program is designed for parents who wish to drop their child off. Otherwise, parents are required to stay on campus.
HEC offers a Drop-Off Program as a courtesy and convenience for families who wish to drop their children off while attending their classes. However, participation in the Drop-Off Program is 100% OPTIONAL and is subject to strict policies and guidelines, for families who meet the program's full scheduling and policy requirements.
SEE DETAILS BELOW
Homeschool Enrichment Centers (HEC) Drop-Off Program Policy Clarification
-
HEC’s Drop-Off Program is offered as a structured service and a convenience for families who wish to leave the campus while their children are in classes. Participation is entirely optional; however, it is reserved for families who meet all scheduling requirements and agree to follow all program policies. These policies are non-negotiable and are in place to ensure the safety of students, proper staffing, and overall program integrity. Families who prefer not to adhere to Drop-Off Program policies are welcome to enroll their children in classes with a parent remaining onsite at all times.
-
Families cannot pick and choose partial days, scattered class times, or fewer classes while still expecting to use Drop-Off Program privileges.
-
If you do not want or need that number of classes, you are not required to sign up for Drop-Off Program. You may simply stay on campus with your child during their scheduled classes.
-
-
Non-Compliance and Removal from the Program
-
Failure to follow the Drop-Off Program scheduling requirements, or attempting to participate without the proper number of classes, will result in removal from the Drop-Off Program.
-
If a family is removed from the Drop-Off Program for any reason — including non-compliance with policies — no refunds, transfers, trades or exchanges will be issued. NO EXCEPTIONS!
-
It is each family’s responsibility to ensure that their child’s schedule meets the Drop-Off Program requirements.
-
-
This Drop-Off program is for K-12th grade. TK has their own drop-off options.
-
CHARTER FUNDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED FOR THE DROP-OFF EXTRA FEES.
-
CHARTERS WILL PAY FOR CLASSES FEES, BUT NOT THE EXTRA DROP-OFF FEE.
-
-
If you choose to participate in the Drop-Off Program, you are agreeing to follow all program requirements as outlined.
-
If you are unable or unwilling to meet the program's policies, you are still welcome to attend classes, but a parent or guardian must remain on campus at all times with your child.
-
This program is designed to ensure safe, supervised care for students whose parents are not on campus during class times and applies equally to all families in order to maintain fairness & consistency.
-
One Lanyard will be given to each student registered in the drop-off program for K-12th grade. This lanyard is not the property of the student, yet the property of HEC and if lost, the parent needs to purchase another one to replace it for $2.50 if the semester has not finished. Each student will be loaned one lanyard per 2 days attending the drop-off program - with a max of 2 lanyards total. ALL LANYARDS should be returned at the end of the school year whether broken or damaged.
-
*Once purchased, there are no refunds, transfers, switches, trades, credits or saving for later. If a class is not available that you wanted, we advise you to make a 1st, 2nd & 3rd choice. If a class gets full, choose another class. If a class gets cancelled, choose another class. We do not refund drop-off's if your 1st choice is no longer available. NO EXCEPTIONS!
