Veronica is married with two children and is a native Californian. Veronica graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She enjoys teaching all subjects but has a love for science and history. She has been an aide in classrooms, has worked and tutored high school students in science, and worked with elementary age children. Her husband is retired Navy, her daughter will be a college freshman Fall 2022, and her son will be a 6th grader. She has been homeschooling her son for six years. She started her homeschool journey because her son has severe food allergies but quickly discovered that she and her son both really enjoyed it. Karin Leonard is a homeschooling mom and a classically trained pianist. For over 30 years, she has taught beginner to advanced level music to people from ages 5 to 95. At age 14, she sang at Carnegie Hall. At age 16, she was hired as a church pianist, began assembling praise bands, conducting choirs and directing musicals. Mary Resenbeck began her career as an educator in 2000 at a private Montessori Performing Arts School in San Diego. Deborah York has been teaching for four years and has worked with all ages Elementary-High School. She holds a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated with honors. Since becoming a teacher, she has found a passion for making historical studies exciting and engaging for all ages. Deborah also has seven years of experience in competitive forensics and deeply enjoys coaching speech and debate. When she isn't teaching her students, Deborah enjoys adventuring with her three children.
